Telangana MBBS / BDS Admission through NEET 2020 - Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) offers admission to MBBS and BDS courses in various government or private colleges of Telangana State. MBBS is a graduate course which is the most sought after among students in the medical field. This degree allows you to practice as a doctor in India. Admission to MBBS and BDS courses is given on the basis of NEET score which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). After submission of application form, provisional merit list will be released. Admission will be given only to those candidates who are eligible for verification of original certificates.

Fee for CAT-A = 30k-1.2 Lakh per annum, Cut-off for General and OBC = 483+

Fee for CAT-B = 11 lakhs per year 247+

Charges for CAT-C = 20 lakhs per year 140+

For non-domicile students - the fee is 11 lakhs per year and the cut-off is 321+.

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana NEET Counseling 2020.

For MBBS / BDS programs to be conducted in a particular year, candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in NEET UG 2020.

Candidates should have passed separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English subjects. The candidate has passed 12th standard with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology in the qualifying examination.

Admission Procedure for Telangana NEET Counseling 2020

Eligible candidates have to register themselves and fill the counseling form.

After registration, candidates have to pay the application fee and complete the registration process.

Then the candidates will be called for the document verification process at the specified date and time.

Only after verification of documents, candidates will be considered eligible for counseling and admission process.

After this process, candidates will be allowed to fill the college options in this process, they have to fill the name of the colleges in which they want to take admission.

Candidates will have to log into their account to get the list of colleges and lock the filled options.

Candidates who get allotment of seats can download the allotment letter from the website.

Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of candidate's preference, score obtained by the candidate, category and seat availability.

Candidates will have to report to the allotted college along with the original documents to confirm their admission and college seats, otherwise, their admission will be canceled.

Verification of original certificates

Provisional merit list will be issued for all the candidates who have successfully filled the application form. After the provisional merit list, candidates will be called for verification of documents. In this, the university will check the eligibility of the candidate for admission to MBBS / BDS courses. Candidates will have to print the filled application form and paste a passport size photo on the space provided. In addition, the declaration field must also be signed. The candidate has to submit this form with two sets of self-attested copies of the following documents on the date specified at the designated center for verification.

  • Marksheet of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination
  • Transfer certificate (T.C)
  • Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.
  • Latest Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Minority status certificates issued by the concerned Department.
  • Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside of Telangana have to submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Government of Telangana.
  • The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Government of Telangana.
  • Undertaking in the form of Affidavit on Rs. 100 /- Stamp paper by the Parent and candidate stating that the caste and area mentioned in the certificates are genuine and they will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any discrepancy is noticed at a later date.
  • Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories i.e., CAP, NCC, PMC and Anglo Indian should furnish the required original certificate in support of their claim.
  • Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under EWS should furnish the required original certificate in support of their claim issued by competent authority of Government of Telangana
