- Kerala MBBS Entrance Eligibility Criteria 2020:
Eligible NEET is compulsory: Students who want to participate in Kerala MBBS admission process through KEAM 2020 must get at least 50th percentile and be eligible for the required NEET cut-off 2020 Kerala MBBS and BDS exam. .
Native Students: Candidates desirous of admission to MBBS and BDS courses by the Medical Colleges of Kerala should be natives of the state, i.e. they should study in Kerala. However, candidates getting admission under 15% All India Quota will not be bound by this rule.
Non-Keralite - 1 (NK-1): Those candidates who are not Kerala domicile holders, but fall under the following categories, will be considered as NK-1 candidates and they can apply for the merit seats of the state. But these candidates will not be given communal / PwD / special privileges:
Candidates who are non-Kerala government employees ward in defense services and have passed 12th standard from Kerala.
Candidates whose parents are non-Keralites and who have served or served the Government of Kerala for at least two years. In this case, students must have completed 12th standard from Kerala.
Non-Keralite students who have been living in the state for at least 5 years and have studied for at least 5 years while studying for 12 years from a state school or institute.
Non-domicile holders of Kerala who have studied in schools in Kerala from class 8 to class 12.
Education qualification required: All the candidates should get minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC and SC candidates and 45% for SEBC) with class 12 exams. In addition, they should be at least 50% safe in biology alone.
Age Criteria: As an additional eligibility criterion, the age of the candidates should be at least 17 years by December 31, 2019. The upper age limit will be followed as per the rules laid down for NEET 2020.
Kerala MBBS Admission Application Process 2020:
To appear for CEE Kerala MBBS Counseling, candidates have to fill the KEAM application form for MBBS and BDS courses. Necessary application fee will also have to be paid to complete the application.
For this, candidates have to register online and fill all their personal and academic details. Once registered, they will be provided with an application number through a registered email ID or phone number.
The KEAM application window opens twice every academic session; Once in February and next May. The application window is usually short in May. Candidates will have to fill the KEAM application form within this stipulated time period and pay the fee through net banking, e-challan, debit or credit card.

KEAM 2020 application
Candidates are advised to carefully go through the KEAM prospectus after releasing it. Candidates should fill all the details only as per the details mentioned in the prospectus.

To appear in the admission process or entrance examination, candidates must fulfill all the KEAM eligibility criteria given below.
General Qualification:
Naturality: Indian citizens are eligible for admission to vocational courses. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can also apply.
Candidates seeking admission in professional degree courses will be classified as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Kerala Category (NK II).
Age Criteria: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age by 31 December 2020.
There is no upper age limit for Engineering, Architecture and B.Pharma courses.
Educational Qualification: Engineering:
Candidates must have passed 12th from Kerala, or recognized as equivalent in the examination, with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry simultaneously.
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with 45% are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges / Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
Architecture:
Candidate should have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board and should be in Mathematics as a subject, securing 50% marks in aggregate.
OR 10 + 3 Diploma (any stream) as subject of examination with 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics.
OR International level diploma after 10 years of schooling, with aggregate marks less than 50% and not with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.

Medical and Allied Courses:
MBBS / BDS / BSMS: Candidates should have 12th pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology subjects along with 50% marks in Biology / Biotechnology and Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology. Must have 50% marks simultaneously.
BAMS / BHMS: Candidates who have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects have secured 50% marks in Biology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together.
BUMS: Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10 + 2) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and 50% marks in Biology. needed.

KEAM Exam Pattern
Mode of Examination: Written examination will be conducted through offline (paper pen based) mode.
- Duration: The exam will be of 150 minutes for each paper.
- Question Type: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
- Number of questions: A total of 120 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Papers: The examination will consist of two papers, i.e. Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics).
- Total Marks: The entire question paper will be of 480 marks.
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be allotted for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

KEAM 2020 Counseling
Candidates who have been selected in the merit list of KEAM 2020 will have to appear for online KEAM 2020 counseling. Allocation of seats in KEAM is done through a centralized allocation process (CAP). Candidates will first have to fill online options of colleges / courses. After this, the candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of scores and choices in the entrance examination (KEAM / NATA / NEET).
The first allocation result will be displayed online. Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to download their memo, which will contain their name, roll number, allotted syllabus and college. The Commissionerate Entrance Examination (CEE) conducts entrance examination or allocation process for admission to professional courses every year like Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree (KEAM).
